Saturday 7th
Beavers -District Beaver Fun Day
at Greenwich District Headquarters, Farjeon Road. How to get there.

The day will consist of various activities and games with the emphasis on ‘Fun and Friendship’.
Starting at 9.30am and finishing at 5.00pm. You will need a packed lunch and waterproofs.

Sunday 8th
Cubs -Archery & Air Rifle Day
at Greenwich District Headquarters, Farjeon Road. How to get there.

Each session will be for a maximum of 12 cubs, the timing of the sessions is as follows;
Morning Session 10:00am TO 12.00 noon
Midday Session 12.30pm TO 2.30pm
Afternoon Session 3.00pm TO 5.00pm

Tuesday 10th

Leaders - Cluster meeting,   7:30pm at Briset Road

Group -Official Launch Event of the new borough-wide Greenwich District.

This promises to be an unforgetable event with lots to see and do from 12noon till 6pm.

You will need to buy a ticket (£2 each) to be able to join in the activities.

Saturday 21st
Cubs   - District handicraft competition - 10:00am to 12:30pm
We hope to be able to enter a team of four this year.

Sunday 22nd

Exec     -     Group Executive meeting

Wednesday 25th
Cubs   - Water activity evening
We have three nights planned for this summer term at the Southmere Boating Centre. How to get there.
There will be canoeing, sailing and kayaking but the weather will dictate which evening is which activity.

Friday 27thNavigator Badge
Scouts   - Navigator Badge evening
We are meeting, 7:00pm, at 10th Royal Eltham HQ, Christ Church, Shooters Hill in smart uniform ready to start.
It is on the 89 bus route from Blackheath.
If you really need a lift I'll be at St Michael's at 18:45pm but I only have 5 spare seats.
Most of the meeting will be outdoors so please bring a waterproof.
Andy will be leading on the Navigator Badge.

Beavers are moved to Weds. 8th
We invite all members of our Group* to camp with us. As this is a family camp, children will have to be accompanied by their parent(s), guardian(s) or join with another family.
We are planning to have a fun weekend.

If you cannot camp with us we hope you will still be able to join us on the Saturday when we are planning some special team games on the afternoon followed by a barbeque and finishing with a campfire singsong.
* The Group is all our young people (Beavers, Cubs and Scouts) plus their families and their leaders.

Saturday 25th
Scouts - Sponsored Walk
The troop are holding a Sponsored Walk across 10 bridges over the Thames from Vauxhall to Tower Bridge to raise money for our Activity Fund.
They will meet at 09:30am at Blackheath Station and expect to return by about 16:00pm.

Scouts -For our final Scout Troop meeting of the year we are going for a Winter Sports Session at Chatham Ski Slope and Snow Board Centre. You can look up what we will be doing at Toboggan and the Sno Tubes which will be followed by a meal.

There are 48 places for scouts to go on this exciting weekend.
Please return the form (get a copy here) with a non-retunrable deposit of £40 to reserve a place by Friday 4th November.
If there are any places left then, they will be offered to members of other Troops in the District.
The activities include archery, canoeing, orienteering, high ropes, team building and climbing. There is a heated indoor pool and a games hall, adventure playground and playing field.
