This year our annual family camp will be held at the very end of September at Eleven Acres, the Greenwich District Campsite at Downe

(nr Biggin Hill).  We hope that as many families as possible will join us there for a fun weekend. Siblings are also welcome.

 

We have an optional programme of activities throughout Saturday and Sunday morning, all designed to be undertaken by family groups.

As this is a family camp, parents retain responsibility for their children at all times.  Some leaders will attend, but will not be acting in loco parentis. We will be helping with the programme and catering.

 

Where children wish to attend, but their parents cannot make it, we suggest you speak to other parents to see if they will take your child and that you formally give them permission to act in loco parentis for the weekend (incl. medical matters).

An invitation will be sent out via OSM in early September for you to confirm your attendance and make your payment online.

Meanwhile:

 

Every person aged 18 or over on the camp site after 9pm at night must have a valid DBS check under the Scout Association (TSA) rules.  An application can be arranged by email                       or you could download an Adult information Form via this link -

Due to the requirement for DBS checks, we will not be able to accept an application to camp as final until a clearance has been received.
