Annual Meeting of the Group Council - Friday 23rd June 2023

​

The business of this meeting is to approve the Chairman’s report and the accounts for the year to 31st March and appoint the Group Executive Committee for the coming year.

​

The purpose of the Group Executive is to support the Group Scout Leader and for:
•    the maintenance of any property and equipment;
•    raising of funds and the administration of the Group’s finances;
•    Group public relations;
•    the insurance of persons, property and equipment;
•    assisting with the recruitment of Leaders and other adult support.

​

We are always looking for some new people to join the committee from the parents of the Beavers, Cubs and Scouts. If you would like to help in this way, please get in touch with Conway Tearle or one of the leaders.

We met online on Monday 28th June 2021 for an electronic Annual Meeting of the Group Scout Council. Beavers, cubs, scouts and their families attended alongside leaders and the Executive team.

We met on Friday 28th June for the Annual Meeting of the Group Scout Council. Beavers, cubs, scouts and their families attended alongside leaders and the Executive team. There will be a BBQ, games, a bouncy castle for entertainment and badges, awards and trophies will be presented.
